A Complete Step-By-Step Procedure To Obtain An Online Aadhaar OTP/Biometric Verifications Based DSC
To procure an
Aadhar-Based or Biometric verification-based DSC, you need to keep some credentials with yourself during the application process. It is required to verify your Aadhaar details before entering your information. In case you have applied for a change or update in your Aadhaar then obtain the updated Aadhar details on the UIDAI website.
You can opt for your preferred application method i.e. Online Aadhaar OTP or Biometric mode, on the basis of your requirements, types, usages, validity, verification types, etc. Below is a complete step-by-step guide to create an aadhar dsc.
Step 1: Click on the “
Buy Certificate” button visible at the top of the page.
Step 2: Now select the Usage Type, Class, Validity, and Profile of the DSC you want to apply for.
Step 3: Click on the “
BUY NOW” button to proceed further.

For Biometric Mode:-
Step 1: Now, select the Biometric Paperless Mode and proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Provide your basic details like mobile number, email address, and PAN details then click on the NEXT button.

Note: You need to install a Biometric Device Driver in your machine and there must be one Biometric Device Driver installed in your system.
Step 4: After successful installation of both, click on “Click here to connect Bio Device”.
Note: In case of unavailability of RD service in your system, then first install RD service and proceed ahead.
Step 5: After successful connection of the device, enter your Aadhaar or VID details, select the finger, accept terms and conditions and then click on the Scan option and put your selected finger on the device.
Step 6: Once the scanning is completed successfully, click on the Next button to proceed further.
Step 7: Now, your Aadhaar details will appear on the screen. Click Next to proceed to the next step.
For Online Aadhaar OTP Mode:-
Step 1: Select the Online
Aadhaar OTP Paperless mode and proceed further.
Step 2: Enter your basic details such as mobile number, email address and PAN details then click on the NEXT button.
Step 3: Provide your 12 digits Aadhaar Number and click on the “Get OTP" button.
Step 4: Now enter an OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click on the “SUBMIT” button.
Step 5: Your Aadhaar details will be visible on the screen then click on the Next button to proceed ahead.

Step 4: Fill up the required details including E-KYC and E-KYC pin then click on the Get OTP to verify mobile number and e-sign.
Step 5: Select an appropriate Payment Mode and make your payment.
Step 6: After a successful payment, your DSC order id will be generated.
Step 7: Click on the “Send video verification link” and “Send email confirmation link” to verify your application confirmation.
Note: Video verification is not required in Biometric mode. You will only have to verify your application confirmation through mobile and email.
Step 8: In case of any interruption in the application process, you can track your DSC status by just clicking on the “Track DSC” option.
